Assessment

I.                   Listening. Task ( Strategy Pre- Listening students listen tape script then read the text)

TRAVELLING (English topic)                                                                                              Modern life is impossible without travelling. Thousands of people travel every day either on business or for pleasure. They can travel by air, by rail, by sea or by road.                                                                                                 Of course, travelling by air is the fastest and the most convenient way, but it is the most expensive too. Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it has its advantages. You can see much more interesting places of the country you are travelling through. Modern trains have very comfortable seats. There are also sleeping cars and dining cars which make even the longest journey enjoyable. Speed, comfort and safety are the main advantages of trains and planes. That is why many people prefer them to all other means.                                                                                              Travelling by sea is very popular. Large ships and small river boats can visit foreign countries and different places of interest within their own country.

II. Answer the questions. Strategy:   “5 W-s questions”

We started a week ago near the river of mouth  the and slowly made our way up the winding Amazon through mile….. mile of dense rainforest. We stopped every night to camp the riverbank. Reflection

Were the lesson objectives/learning
objectives realistic?
What did the learners learn
today? What was the learning
atmosphere like?
Did my planned differentiation work well?
Did I stick to timings? What changes did I make from my plan & why?

I think my objectives were realistic. Because I seen the results.

The learners learned some new words to topic about “Travelling”. Learners took part in different tasks and activities, to collaborate working in small groups, shared ideas.

Differentiation work well by Cohesion Strategy.

Summary evaluation

What two things went really well (consider both teaching and learning)?

What two things would have improved the lesson (consider both teaching and learning)?

What have I learned from this lesson about the class or individuals that will inform my next lesson?

At this lesson “Draw your brain” strategy  working with picture and conclusion “Ticket to exit the class” strategy  went well.

To my mind I should improve exercise  and  cards with tasks and take more discussing materials.

According to updated curriculum I understood that the main idea is based on active learning by doing
